Question: Why does my V3 viewer show a lot of prims pink?

• Update to the latest graphics driver for your card
• Bring up the Advanced top menu with CTRL+ALT+D
  Then Advanced -> Debug settings -> RenderMaxTextureIndex -> Set this to zero
  This should fix the pink textures but may also cause a drop in your FPS (Frames per second)
• Disabling Basic Shaders (Me -> Preferences -> Graphics -> General -> Advanced -> untick Basic shaders) will also stop the pink, but things will not look as pretty.

  System requirements 

To connect your computer to the virtual environment it must meet the following requirements. 

Windows minimum:

• Internet connection: cabel or DSL
• Operating system: Windows 7, XP or Vista
• Opensim viewer: Imprudence viewer
• Computer processor: 800 MHz Pentium III or Athlon, or better
• Computer memory: 512 MB or more
• Video/Graphics Card for  XP/2000:
  • nVidia GeFofce 2, GeFofce 4 MX or better
  • of ATI Radeon 8500, 9250 or better
  • of 945 chipset
• * Video/Graphics Card voor windows 7/Vista (newest drivers):
  • nVidia GeFofce 6600 or better
  • of ATI Radeon 9500 or better
  • of 945 chipset

  • ATI Graphics Cards (X800, X900; X1400, X1500, X1600, X1700, X1800, X1900)

  • OF ATI Radeon 8500, 9250, or better

Mac recommended:

• Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4.3 or better
• Opensim viewer: Imprudence viewer
• Computer processor: 1.25 GHz G4 or better
• Computer memory: 768 MB or more
• Video/Graphics Card:
  • Nvidia Graphics cards (6000 series: 6700, 6800; 7000 series: 7600, 7800, 7900; 8000 series: 8400, 8500, 8600, 8800; GeFofce Go: 7400, 7600, 7800, 7900)
  • ATI Graphics Cards (X800, X900; X1400, X1500, X1600, X1700, X1800, X1900)

Linux minimum:

• Internet connection: cabel or DSL
• Computer processor: 800 MHz Pentium III of Athlon, or better
• Computer geheugen: 256 MB or more (more is strongly adviced!)
• Opensim viewer: Imprudence viewer
• Linux Operating System: a moderne 32-bit Linux is required or Linux 64-bit.
• Video/Graphics Card:
  • nVidia GeFofce 2, GeFofce 4 MX, or better
  • of ATI Radeon 8500, 9250, or better
  • nVidia cards are strongly adviced.
